On March 6, the Can Tho City Labor Federation (LDF) said that the unit had just organized a delegation to visit and encourage businesses and workers to return to work after the Lunar New Year holiday.
The delegation led by Vice Chairman of Can Tho City Labor Federation Tran Tu Nhien visited Soc Trang Seafood Joint Stock Company and Banh Pia - Lap Xuong Tan Hue Vien Food Processing Co., Ltd.

At each unit, representatives of businesses quickly reported on the production and employment situation in 2025. At the same time, they expressed that they will continue to coordinate with the City Labor Federation and grassroots trade unions to better care for union members and workers at enterprises.

Leaders of the City Labor Federation highly appreciated the efforts of businesses in caring for union members and workers. On this occasion, the Can Tho City Labor Federation also presented 40 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances at 2 businesses (20 gifts each unit). Thereby, promptly encouraging and helping workers to be more enthusiastic about production after Tet.
According to a report by the Can Tho City Labor Federation, during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, the City Trade Union organized a variety of activities to care for union members and workers with many practical, warm, and joyful forms, bearing the strong mark of the Trade Union. The Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation established a delegation to visit businesses and give gifts and Tet greetings to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, low income, heavily affected by natural disasters, heavy, hazardous, and dangerous industries.
The unit has also directed grassroots trade unions to strengthen dialogue and negotiation activities with employers on production plans, salaries, Tet bonuses, ensuring the rights of union members and workers. Average bonuses are 6.875 million VND, the highest is 68 million VND (foreign-invested enterprises) and the lowest is 200,000 VND (civil enterprises).
