News from Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union, Da Nang city on May 30 said: in response to Workers' Month 2026 and Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health 2026, the grassroots Trade Union of Huy Hoang II Garment Co., Ltd. (under Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union) coordinated with the company's leadership to organize a training, propaganda and drill program on fire prevention, fighting and rescue (PCCC&CNCH) for all union members and employees of the company.
The program has the coordination and professional support of the Da Nang City Fire and Rescue Police Department, with the participation of 503 union members and workers working at the enterprise.
At the training session, union members and workers were propagated and disseminated legal regulations on fire prevention and fighting and rescue, basic knowledge about fires and explosions; common causes of fires in the workplace; skills in preventing and handling situations when incidents occur.
In addition to theoretical content, the program focuses on guiding practical skills such as: using portable fire extinguishers; how to spread hoses, use water cans; escape skills, rescue trapped people; first aid; handling simulated fire situations at enterprises.
The highlight of the program is the drill of fire fighting and rescue plans at the grassroots level with the direct participation of professional fire prevention and fighting forces, grassroots fire prevention and fighting teams and a large number of union members and workers. Simulated situations are deployed closely to the production environment of the garment industry, helping workers improve their skills in handling real-life situations and proactively responding when incidents occur.
Through activities, the grassroots Trade Union of Huy Hoang II Garment Co., Ltd. continues to promote its role in coordinating with businesses to care for and protect the safety of employees; contributing to building a safe and disciplined working environment, limiting the risk of fire and explosion and labor accidents at enterprises.
This is also a practical activity in response to the "Labor Safety Culture at the Workplace" model launched by the Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union; gradually bringing labor safety and fire prevention into awareness, skills and regular habits in each union member and worker.
