News from the Lien Chieu Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on May 28th said that it had organized a ceremony to announce the decision to establish and launch the Executive Committee of the Grassroots Trade Union of Bien Bien Road Co., Ltd.
At the ceremony, the Lien Chieu Ward Trade Union announced decisions on recognizing 50 Trade Union members, establishing grassroots trade unions and appointing the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Bien Bien Road Co., Ltd.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Trong Nguyen - Chairman of Lien Chieu Ward Trade Union requested the newly established grassroots Trade Union Executive Committee to develop a work program and plan, and assign specific tasks to each Executive Committee member.
Closely coordinate with the Company's Board of Directors to do a good job of propaganda and education, building strong grassroots trade unions and performing well the functions of the Trade Union organization.
In which, the function of representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers is the focus and throughout all activities of the Trade Union; organizing good emulation movements to excellently complete the unit's business targets and plans.
On this occasion, Lien Chieu Ward Trade Union presented 2 gifts of support, each worth 500,000 VND, to 2 union members in difficult circumstances. At the same time, it signed a cooperation agreement with Bo Bien Road Co., Ltd. in the program "Beneficiency for Trade Union Members".
Accordingly, union members and workers in grassroots trade unions managed by Lien Chieu Ward Trade Union are entitled to a 10% discount on tourism services (tours, teambuilding programs, galas) and a 10% discount on room rates at hotels belonging to Bo Bien Road Co., Ltd.
Also at the program, union members and workers were propagated by Lien Chieu Ward Trade Union about the Labor Code, Social Insurance Law, Trade Union Law and mini-games "Questions and Answers with Prizes".
