Building a safe working environment
On March 25, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union coordinated with Nam Phuoc Commune Police, Da Nang City to organize a program to announce the model "Labor Safety Culture at the Workplace" at the Trade Union of Anh Sang 7 Garment Enterprise, associated with legal propaganda and guidance on labor safety skills for more than 100 union members and workers.
At the program, Ms. Lam Thi Vy - Chairwoman of Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union awarded the Decision to establish a model point to Mr. Nguyen Tuong Nhu - Chairman of the Trade Union of Anh Sang 7 Garment Enterprise and core members of the model.
The model focuses on implementing practical contents such as: building a safe working environment, ensuring labor hygiene; equipping adequate protective equipment; organizing propaganda and training on labor safety and fire prevention and fighting knowledge; listing safety regulations and working procedures; developing plans for handling incidents and labor accidents; maintaining the effective operation of the safety and hygiene network at the unit.
Immediately after the announcement program, union members and workers were directly propagated by Mr. Pham Tan Trai - officer of the Regional Police Team, reporter of Nam Phuoc Commune Police, and guided on labor safety skills at the workplace.
The content focuses on identifying unsafe risks, situation handling skills, how to use fire extinguishers and measures to prevent labor accidents in the production process.
The activities are organized practically, suitable to the working conditions of garment industry units, contributing to raising awareness and self-protection skills of workers; and at the same time promoting the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for and protecting union members and workers.
Giving free medical examination tickets to female union members
On this occasion, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union presented free medical examination tickets to female union members sponsored by Tam Tri Quang Nam General Hospital and gifts of drinking water for workers, contributing to encouraging morale and creating a joyful atmosphere at the unit.
In the coming time, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union will continue to coordinate with the Commune Police and the Department of Culture and Social Affairs to implement the coordination plan signed on March 20, 2026 on "Implementing the Trade Union Project to promote the building of occupational safety culture in the workplace in the period 2025-2030".
This project is associated with improving the effectiveness of propaganda and mobilization of union members and workers to comply with the law, proactively prevent risks, social evils and unsafe risks in the process of labor and production.
At the same time, replicate the "Labor Safety Culture at the Workplace" model in grassroots trade unions in the area, contributing to building a safe, healthy, stable and sustainable working environment.
