On May 6, the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation said that the grassroots trade union of Hung Nghiep Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Co., Ltd. had just organized the opening ceremony of the men's and women's football tournament for union members and workers.
Attending the opening ceremony were Comrade Ngo Dinh Van - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation and representatives of the Trade Union Affairs Committee. On the business side, there was Mr. Lo Trung Minh - Director of the Management Department and members of the Standing Committee, Executive Committee of the Company's grassroots Trade Union.
Participating in the tournament are 17 teams (including 12 men's teams and 5 women's teams) with nearly 300 athletes. The qualifying, quarter-final, and semi-final matches will take place until May 18; the final, closing and award ceremony are expected to be held on May 20.
The tournament is a practical activity to celebrate Workers' Month, contributing to improving cultural and spiritual life, practicing physical education and sports to create a healthy playground, strengthening exchanges and connections among officials, union members, and workers.
