News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on September 13 said: The working delegation of the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Trade Union led by Mr. Le Thanh Xuan - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Trade Union visited and worked with the City Labor Federation.
At the meeting, Mr. Le Thanh Xuan, Chairman of the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Trade Union, said that in recent years, the staff and workers of the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group have promoted the tradition of discipline and unity of miners, united, strived to overcome difficulties to effectively carry out production and business tasks, ensuring national energy security.
In the process of performing production and business tasks and the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers, the unit has always received the attention and support of localities, including Da Nang city.
At the visit and working session, the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Trade Union hopes to receive the sharing of the Da Nang City Labor Federation in organizing activities to care for the material and spiritual lives and protect the rights of union members and workers.
In particular, we hope to learn and share good models and practices of Da Nang in caring for and protecting workers' rights.
Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh - President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation - informed the delegation about the results of organizing trade union activities and the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers in the city in the past time.
In particular, implementing the work of merging and arranging the apparatus, currently, the Da Nang City Labor Federation has 2 departments; has established 28 commune and ward unions. The whole city manages 1,760 grassroots unions and 215,586 union members.
In the coming time, the City Labor Federation will continue to implement solutions to thereby, better care for workers, build harmonious labor relations in the city, contribute to the effective implementation of the two-level local government model, and build a rapid and sustainable city.
The Chairman of the City Labor Federation hopes that the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Trade Union will continue to maintain a good relationship, share good models and effective ways of doing things to better care for union members and workers.
Thereby, affirming the role and position of the Trade Union organization, together building the Vietnam Trade Union organization to develop more and more, worthy of the trust of union members and workers.
