A series of projects opened for sale, started construction
The Department of Construction of Da Nang City has just announced the opening of social housing for sale at the social housing apartment project on lot B4-2, in Bau Tram Lakeside green urban area. The number of social housing apartments for sale this time is 305, with areas ranging from 44.5m2 to nearly 70m2 (1 - 3 bedrooms). According to the list, the lowest selling price of apartments is over VND 714 million, the highest price is over VND 1.1 billion/apartment (including VAT, not including 2% maintenance fee).
Previously, the Department of Construction of Da Nang City announced the opening of social housing for sale at blocks A and B of the An Trung 2 low-income apartment project (An Hai ward). In the project, there are a total of 633 apartments allowed to be sold on the market, block A has 288 apartments and block B has 345 apartments. The apartments are being sold at a price of more than 16.2 million VND/m2, including a 5% value-added tax but excluding 2% maintenance costs and the K floor coefficient. The lowest selling price of apartments is more than 820 million VND, the highest price is more than 1 billion VND/apartment.
Not only opening for sale, at the end of August 2025, the People's Committee of Da Nang City said that the social housing project in Hoa Hiep 4 resettlement area with a total investment of more than VND 2,125 billion will start construction in the near future. The project has the commercial name Ecohome Hoa Hiep, located on land B4-1, B4-2, Me Linh Street (Hai Van and Lien Chieu Wards). This is one of the key projects to meet the social housing needs of Da Nang people.
The housing demand of workers and laborers is increasing
According to the Department of Construction of Da Nang City, in 2025, the city will urge the construction progress to complete 4 projects with 1,807 apartments; complete the selection of investors to start 4 projects with 4,254 apartments; carry out investment preparation work for 1 project with 191 apartments from public investment capital.
In addition, the city has approved investment policies and called for investment in 5 projects with 3,487 apartments; proposed that the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor continue to implement a project with about 500 apartments from trade union financial resources for lease.
Thus, in 2025, Da Nang City will implement 15 projects with 10,239 units, reaching 109.5% of the project target for the period 2025 - 2030; it is expected to complete and put into use 1,807 units, reaching 120.5% of the project target for 2025.
To continue developing housing supply, Da Nang City has added 54 land plots to the housing development program until 2030 located in districts and towns of Da Nang City (old): There are 27 land plots in Hoa Vang district, 12 land plots in Lien Chieu district, 7 land plots in Cam Le district, 7 land plots in Ngu Hanh Son district and 1 land plot in Son Tra district.
In particular, from the beginning of 2025 to now, Da Nang City has completed and put into use social apartments for people with revolutionary contributions on Vu Mong Nguyen Street (Ngu Hanh Son Ward) with 209 apartments; arranged for rent to people with revolutionary contributions and families with housing difficulties.
Mr. Nguyen Ha Nam - Director of the Department of Construction of Da Nang City - said that the city is in a period of strong development, rapid urbanization, the housing demand of workers, laborers and low-income people is increasing.
According to the Government's assigned targets, in the 2025 - 2030 period, Da Nang City after the merger needs to complete nearly 29,000 social housing apartments. This is a big task but also very humane, demonstrating the concern of the Party, State and city government for people's lives.
