News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on March 4th said: The City Labor Federation organized a grassroots trade union meeting at three locations including the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park Workers' Culture and Sports Center, the Hall of the City Labor Federation Agency and the Hall of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Agency in Tam Ky ward.
Attending the conference at the meeting points: Hoa Khanh Industrial Park Workers' Culture and Sports Center and the Hall of the City Labor Federation Agency were comrade Ho Thi Lan Huong, Vice President of the City Labor Federation.
At the Hall of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Office in Tam Ky ward, there was comrade Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, Vice Chairman of the City Labor Federation.
The conference aims to assess the results of task implementation in the past time; promptly grasp the situation of trade union activities in industrial parks, high-tech parks, and economic zones.
Strengthen information exchange, unify policies and solutions to improve the effectiveness of trade union activities, contributing to protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
At the same time, implement new directions from superiors and create a forum for units to learn and share practical experiences.
The organization of the conference in many points has created favorable conditions for units to fully participate, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of the program.
At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and proposing many practical solutions to effectively implement key tasks in the second quarter of 2026.
In which, focus on organizing activities to celebrate major holidays, especially the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2026), Workers' Month and Action Month on occupational safety and health; promote the work of caring for and protecting the rights of workers in the current context.
In addition, grassroots trade unions also frankly exchanged difficulties and obstacles, and proposed solutions to improve the quality of operations, contributing to building an increasingly strong trade union organization.
On this occasion, the City Labor Federation awarded Emulation Flags to 14 collectives; awarded Certificates of Merit to 12 collectives and 100 individuals under management, with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good labor and building a strong Trade Union organization in 2025, thereby contributing to spreading good models and effective practices throughout the trade union system.
