Shortage of high-quality human resources
On May 12, in Ban Thach ward, the Da Nang City Labor Federation organized a seminar "Trade Union members contribute ideas to build Vietnam Trade Unions in the new era".
Presiding over the seminar were Mr. Le Van Dai - Standing Vice Chairman of the City Labor Federation; Ms. Ho Thi Lan Huong and Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh - Vice Chairman of the City Labor Federation.

Speaking to host the seminar, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh - Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation said that in the context of socio-economic difficulties, the labor structure continues to have strong changes, and labor in private enterprises and informal sector labor tends to increase rapidly.
However, the quality of human resources is still low, and there is a shortage of high-quality human resources. This requires trade union levels to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation to meet the legitimate needs and aspirations of union members and workers and to suit the requirements of promoting industrialization, modernization of the country and international integration.
The seminar with the theme "Contributing opinions to build Vietnam Trade Unions in the new era" is a forum for delegates to exchange, share experiences, and propose practical solutions to contribute to improving the quality of trade union activities.
At the seminar, trade union officials of communes, wards and grassroots trade unions delivered presentations related to promoting the role of trade union organizations in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
At the same time, propose solutions to improve the quality of the contingent of officials and grassroots trade union activities in the digital environment.

At the seminar, commune and ward trade unions presented many very quality papers, suggestive and feasible solutions.
Typically, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union presented a paper on coordination between the Trade Union and the government, business owners and other organizations to improve the effectiveness of representing, caring for and protecting the rights of union members and workers.
Hoi An Ward Trade Union proposed solutions to innovate the organizational model and operating methods of commune and ward trade unions in accordance with the 2-level local government model.
Hai Chau Ward Trade Union proposed solutions to innovate the content and methods of gathering and attracting workers in the context of building Vietnam Trade Unions in the new era.
Ban Thach Ward Trade Union raised the issue of organizing Vietnam Trade Unions to innovate the role of representing and protecting workers in the context of digital transformation and international integration.
Chien Dan Commune Trade Union proposed solutions to improve the quality of trade union officials in terms of digital skills, innovative thinking and adaptive capacity, meeting task requirements in the new period.
In particular, grassroots trade unions also contributed many very good opinions such as: The grassroots trade union of Sedo Vinako Co., Ltd. raised the issue of applying technology in grasping thoughts, aspirations and improving the effectiveness of dialogue at the grassroots level.
The grassroots trade union of Truong Giang Garment Joint Stock Company mentioned the responsibility of the Trade Union in mobilizing union members and workers to study, improve their qualifications, professional skills, adaptability, master technology, become "digital workers", "digital laborers", adapting to the fourth industrial revolution.
