News from Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union, Da Nang city on May 12 said: within the framework of Workers' Month activities in 2026, Nam Phuoc Grassroots Social Insurance in coordination with Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union and Nam Phuoc Commune Youth Union organized a conference to propagate, advise, and dialogue on social insurance and health insurance policies for union members, youth and young workers in 2026.
At the conference, representatives of Nam Phuoc Grassroots Social Insurance propagated and disseminated basic contents on social insurance and health insurance policies; focusing on the rights and obligations of participants, forms of compulsory social insurance, voluntary social insurance, household health insurance; contribution levels, contribution methods, benefit levels and points to note for union members, youth, and young workers.
In addition to the propaganda part, the program spends time consulting, dialoguing, and directly answering the contents of interest to participants, especially the conditions and procedures for participating in voluntary social insurance for freelance workers, young people who do not have stable jobs; rights to sickness, maternity, occupational accidents, health insurance medical examination and treatment and related social security policies.
Through the form of direct, easy-to-understand, and close-to-reality exchange, the conference helps union members, youth, and young workers have more information to proactively choose appropriate participation methods; gradually form a sense of accumulation and self-protection against risks of employment, income, health, and old age.
The activity also contributes to strengthening the coordination between the Trade Union organization, the Youth Union and the Social Insurance agency in propagating and mobilizing union members, youth, and workers to participate in social insurance and health insurance; thereby effectively implementing social security policies, expanding the coverage of social insurance and health insurance in the area.
