Responding to Workers' Month 2026, Phu Quoc Special Zone Trade Union (An Giang province) organized a series of activities to visit, encourage and give meaningful gifts to union members and workers (NLĐ) in particularly difficult circumstances, who have suffered labor accidents and suffer from serious illnesses. The timely care shows the deep concern of the Trade Union organization for the social security life of workers in the locality.
The Standing Committee of the Phu Quoc Special Zone Trade Union said that in order to realize the goal of "leaving no workers behind", the Special Zone Trade Union has organized a working delegation to visit and inquire directly at businesses and grassroots trade unions (CĐCS) in the area.

Not stopping at gifts of material value, this is an opportunity for the Trade Union organization to be close to the grassroots level, listen to thoughts, aspirations and grasp the actual working conditions and lives of workers. This timely companionship and sharing is a meaningful source of encouragement, encouraging them to feel secure in working and continue to contribute to the development of Pearl Island.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich - union member of the Grassroots Trade Union of Kasa Technology Laundry Company - shared: "Life in my hometown is difficult, so I came here from the mainland in Chau Doc to work. Today, being visited by the Trade Union and receiving gifts, I am very touched. This gift has added motivation for me to continue living here and take care of my family.
Mr. Le Tuan Ky - union member of Phu Quoc Tourism Investment and Development Joint Stock Company - confided: "In the process of working, there were many difficulties, but today the Trade Union came to visit and give gifts, I feel encouraged and more motivated to go to work and work better.
The handover of more than 275 gifts with a total value of nearly 150 million VND directly to workers in difficult circumstances, who have suffered labor accidents and serious illnesses, has demonstrated the proactive spirit of the Trade Union organization. The close coordination between the Phu Quoc Special Zone Trade Union and the Board of Directors of enterprises is not just a simple support activity but also contributes to building a synchronous social security network.

Mr. Le Hoang Nam - Chairman of Phu Quoc Special Zone Trade Union - affirmed: "Union members in difficult circumstances, with serious illnesses or labor accidents are extremely needy of care. These gifts, although small, contribute to creating great motivation for them to stabilize their lives and successfully complete their tasks at the enterprise. In the future, the Special Zone Trade Union will continue to advise to have more timely programs, not only for difficult circumstances but for all union members in general, in order to improve labor productivity and connect with the Trade Union organization".
