On April 26, the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor said that in the first quarter of 2025, trade unions at all levels in the province supported the construction and repair of 7 "Union Shelters" for union members with difficult housing circumstances, with a total cost of 330 million VND.
Trade unions at all levels also supported 16 union members with serious illnesses and work-related accidents with a total amount of 32 million VND. Thereby, contributing to sharing difficulties and encouraging the spirit of workers.
In the first quarter, the Provincial Federation of Labor also deployed the task of women's work in 2025. Many cultural and sports activities, sightseeing, tourism, visits and gifts for female union members in difficult circumstances, sick, pregnant... have been organized in a rich and practical form. Periodic health check-ups for female workers are also of interest.
Mr. Le Van Thanh - Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor said: "In the coming time, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor will direct trade unions at all levels to organize activities in response to Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month in 2025".
"The Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor will organize a launching ceremony for Workers' Month associated with the Labor Safety and Hygiene Month to spread the meaning and raise awareness among union members and workers" - Mr. Thanh added.
