On February 25, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation informed that the unit had just launched the "Ao Dai Week 2026" to trade union levels in the province.
The activity aims to practically celebrate the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and the election of People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026–2031 term; towards the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 – March 8, 2026) and the 1,986th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising. Thereby, continuing to create a spreading effect in the community, arousing responsibility for preserving and promoting Vietnamese cultural heritage.
Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Huyen - Standing Vice President of the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation said: "The Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation requests affiliated units to launch and encourage female union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers to wear ao dai on working days in accordance with their conditions and professional characteristics. The activity is deployed from March 1 to March 8, with simultaneous response on March 6".
According to Ms. Huyen, in addition, depending on actual conditions, trade union levels can launch the program "Giving Ao Dai - Sending Love - Preserving Traditional Beauty". Thereby, supporting female workers and children of workers in difficult circumstances, workers working in industrial parks, mountainous areas, remote and isolated areas.
