On August 10, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation said that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Trade Union has just issued an Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, the Resolution of the 11th Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, the Resolution of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress and the Resolution of the 1st Dak Lak Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030.
The program identifies many key tasks and targets to innovate Trade Union activities, improve the effectiveness of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
Accordingly, every year, Trade Union levels strive to develop 2,000 new union members, establish 5 grassroots trade unions; support funding for building and repairing 100 "Trade Union Shelter" houses for union members in difficult circumstances.
At the same time, strive for at least 90% of union members and workers to be propagated, disseminated, studied, and thoroughly grasped of the Party's guidelines, policies, laws of the State and resolutions of the Trade Union organization.
By the end of the term, the Provincial Trade Union aims to have 70,000 union members; 80% of enterprises with 20 or more employees establish grassroots trade unions; at least 85% of enterprises and units with trade union organizations sign collective labor agreements.
The program identifies 3 breakthrough stages including promoting innovation, strongly applying digital transformation in Trade Union activities; investing resources to develop union members, establishing grassroots trade unions in enterprises outside the state sector and the informal labor sector.
At the same time, promote dialogue and collective bargaining, focusing on issues of salaries, bonuses, working hours, rest, safety, and occupational hygiene.
One of the focuses is to innovate methods of caring for union members and workers through the programs "Tet Sum vay", "Workers' Month", "Trade Union Shelter", "Trade Union Meal"; strengthen support for workers in difficult circumstances, who have suffered from labor accidents, occupational diseases and those facing difficulties due to natural disasters and epidemics.
Mr. Le Van Thanh - Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation - said that the Provincial Trade Union will promote training and professional development, professional skills, digital skills, foreign languages for union members and workers; encourage lifelong learning, promote initiatives, technical improvements and innovation.
The goal is to have at least 1,000 initiatives of union members and workers applied to production and work by the end of the term.
Digital transformation is also identified as a continuous task, with the construction of a database of union members and trade union organizations; applying digital platforms in management, administration and service provision; gradually using electronic documents, digital signatures, electronic records and modern management platforms.
