At the program, answering the opinions of union members and workers related to regimes and policies for workers, Colonel Cong Thanh Thao said that the People's Public Security Trade Union is implementing many welfare programs for union members and workers.
In addition to programs such as "Trade Union Adoption", "Tet Sum vay", supporting union members in difficult circumstances, suffering from dangerous diseases, labor accidents..., the People's Public Security Trade Union is building a database system for union members and workers in difficult circumstances, classifying them to ensure support for the right subjects, promptly and effectively.
According to Colonel Cong Thanh Thao, in 2026, the free health check-up program will be expanded, not only for union members but also for relatives of union members and workers. Currently, the People's Public Security Trade Union has signed a cooperation agreement with partners to implement a program to support free eye surgery for relatives of union members and workers in the People's Public Security.
In addition, the People's Public Security Trade Union continues to sign agreements with many partners to implement preferential programs, contributing to reducing living costs and improving the quality of life of union members and their families.
Regarding policies for pregnant women, Colonel Cong Thanh Thao suggested that in addition to the regimes already stipulated by law, grassroots trade unions should proactively include policies beneficial to pregnant women in collective labor agreements. Depending on the conditions of each unit, businesses can study arranging suitable jobs, creating working time conditions or supplementing support policies so that female workers can feel secure in their work, thereby building a more humane and cohesive working environment.
Exchanging about the content of organizing emulation movements, Colonel Cong Thanh Thao said that the People's Public Security Trade Union determines that emulation movements must be closely linked to professional tasks, towards the goal of improving labor productivity, contributing to completing political tasks and production and business plans of the unit.
According to Colonel Cong Thanh Thao, in the period 2025 - 2030, the People's Police Trade Union will implement three plans: Deploying patriotic emulation movements among CAND workers; deploying the emulation movement "Three Firsts: Most Disciplined - Most Loyal - Closest to the People" associated with the movement "Three Innovations: Thinking Innovation - Content Innovation - Operating Method Innovation"; deploying the movement "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income" launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Emulation movements must bring real effectiveness, measured by specific results such as increased labor productivity, improved income of workers and the emergence of more effective models and ways of working. Grassroots trade unions pay attention to detecting, praising, and promptly rewarding collectives and individuals with outstanding initiatives and achievements, creating motivation for union members and workers to continue to emulation in labor, contributing to improving production and business efficiency," Colonel Cong Thanh Thao emphasized.
