Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong attended the "Fly High Dreams" program in the Northern region to commend children of officials, employees, and laborers with outstanding achievements in studying and training in the 2025-2026 school year and commend "Typical Textile and Garment Family" in 2026.
In the 2025-2026 school year, the entire system had 706 students commended, 204 children awarded scholarships "Accompanying you to school". In the Northern region alone, 301 students were commended; 65 children received scholarships.
In particular, this is the first time within the framework of the "Fly High Dreams" Program that the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union has organized the honoring of the title "Typical Textile and Garment Family".
The organizing committee also praised and awarded prizes to young authors participating in the writing contest with the theme "Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union - Proud of tradition, steadfast in the future". The contest was launched on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union and attracted a large number of entries, including 14 entries from children of union members and workers.
Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong highly appreciated the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union's organization of meaningful activities to care for the children of workers, and expressed her wish that the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union would continue to promote the achieved results; and further strongly innovate the work of women, families and children.
