Dong Nai Trade Union focuses on caring for and protecting workers

On December 30, the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, held an official session with the participation of 360 delegates representing nearly 742,000 trade union members.

Attending the congress were Ms. Thai Thu Xuong, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour; Ms. Do Hong Van, Deputy Head of the Labor Relations Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour. On the Dong Nai Provincial side, there were Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ms. Huynh Thi Hang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Ha Anh Dung, Standing Deputy Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

At the Congress, Ms. Do Hong Van, Deputy Head of the Labor Relations Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, announced the decisions of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman; Inspection Committee, Chairman, Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation, term I, term 2025 - 2030.

Accordingly, the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation term I, term 2025 - 2030 includes 44 members of the Executive Committee. Among them, there are 12 members of the Standing Committee. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung was appointed to continue to be Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation and 4 Vice Chairmen of the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation including: Ms. Bui Thi Bich Thuy, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thang, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet, Mr. Dao Minh Tan.

The Inspection Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation consists of 14 people, Mr. Dao Minh Tan is the Chairman of the Inspection Committee.

At the Congress, Representatives of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour also announced the decision to appoint 31 official delegates and 9 alternate delegates of the Dong Nai Provincial Trade Union to attend the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031.

Speaking to direct the Congress, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, acknowledged and praised, and congratulated the results and achievements of trade union levels in Dong Nai province achieved in the period 2023-2025, making important contributions to the overall achievements of trade union activities nationwide.

Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour Thai Thu Xuong requested Dong Nai Trade Union in the next term to continue to focus on doing well the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers, especially issues such as: salaries, bonuses, working hours, rest and working environment, occupational safety and health issues, health care for union members and workers, especially female workers; Strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of policies and laws on labor, trade unions, social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance...

Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour Thai Thu Xuong requested Dong Nai Trade Union to improve the quality of programs and models to care for benefits for union members that have been and are being effective such as Trade Union Meals, Workers' Month, Tet Reunion, Trade Union Warm House; Focus on building advanced examples, promoting initiatives, technical improvements, emulation projects; promote the work of discovering, selecting, honoring, and replicating the most advanced examples, which are direct production workers...
