Ideas and initiatives of workers bring billions of VND in profits to businesses
In Dong Nai province, the emulation movement for good labor and creative labor has attracted union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers to enthusiastically participate and contribute, contributing to improving the quality of goods, services, and labor productivity. Notably, in the business sector, in the past 5 years, there have been 563,783 ideas, initiatives, designs, and tasks implemented by workers, benefiting businesses by over 1,068 billion VND.
In which, prominent is the collective of the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union of Changshin Vietnam Co., Ltd., TKG TaekwangVina Joint Stock Company, Pousung Vietnam Co., Ltd., Pouchen Vietnam Co., Ltd., Precision Industry Joint Stock Company and many other enterprises in the province that have coordinated well with the Board of Directors to launch among workers to promote initiatives and technical improvements, resulting in nearly 100,000 initiatives, designs, and tasks of workers benefiting businesses by tens of billions of VND.
Mr. Dang Tuan Tu - Chairman of the grassroots trade union of Changshin Vietnam Co., Ltd. shared that the company always encourages union members and workers to have many creative ideas and improvements in their work, thereby contributing to profits for businesses of tens of thousands of USD. This shows that the level of Vietnamese workers is increasingly high, intelligent, and creative.
Help union members be more confident
A prominent highlight of the emulation movement "1 million initiatives, efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic" after 2 years of implementation has had many initiatives in the field of production with high profit value; initiatives to create new products, new technologies, and improve labor productivity.
As of the end date of the program (September 1, 2023), Dong Nai province had 110,232/67,486 initiatives and experiences updated on the online software system, nearly 2 times higher than the target assigned by the VGCL, ranking 6th/82 units nationwide, benefiting agencies and businesses by more than 1,500 billion VND.
The recognized initiatives have helped union members and workers to be more confident in proposing solutions associated with assigned tasks, there are many initiatives associated with the professional practice of workers and employees directly involved in production, such as the initiative of the union group of Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company with an innovation topic to proactively source materials to help the factory be more proactive in developing new products, benefiting businesses over 23 billion VND...
In addition, in the past 5 years, the emulation movement "For the Poor - Leaving No One Behind" has also been directed by the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation to promote at all levels of trade unions. Many creative models and solutions in emulation work have been spread such as: "Trade Union Gratitude", "COVID-19 Safety Group", "Gratitude Rice ATM", "0-dong Supermarket", "Trade Union Accompanies Businesses Overcoming Difficulties"...
Grassroots Trade Union of Changshin Vietnam Co., Ltd.: Since 2002, the "Changshin Family Support" Association has been established, in the past 5 years, it has supported 163 families with workers who died with a level of over 300 million VND/case, helping families overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and have conditions for their children to continue studying. In addition, in the past 5 years, the "Children's Hands" program to support union members with terminal illnesses and difficult circumstances has supported 157 workers, each person from 40-60 million VND, helping workers have more conditions to treat diseases, continue working and stabilize their lives.
And the grassroots trade union of Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd. from 2010 to now has coordinated with financial institutions to lend capital to 40,302 union members with a total amount of more than 1,176 billion VND.
Ms. Bui Thi Bich Thuy - Standing Vice President of the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation said that through patriotic emulation movements, union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers in all fields of work have completed well the assigned tasks with a spirit of dedication and responsibility, actively contributing to the successful completion of tasks of agencies, units, businesses, sectors, localities and Dong Nai province in the past 5 years.
