Taking care of 984,000 union members and workers in difficult circumstances
The 1st Dong Nai Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030 took place in 2 days, December 29 and 30, with the participation of 370 outstanding delegates, representing nearly 742,000 trade union members participating.

In the period 2023-2025, Dong Nai Trade Union continued to affirm its role as an organization representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers (DVNLD). Trade Union levels have proactively innovated the content and methods of operation, closely following the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, and at the same time linked to practical requirements at enterprises and units.

The whole province has signed 431 new agreements, raising the total number of collective labor agreements currently available to 1,384/1,690 grassroots trade unions (rate of 81.9%).
Trade union levels and Trade Union Legal Counseling Centers have directly provided legal advice to 16,466 turns of people, provided legal support through drafting petitions for 4,118 workers; participated in protecting or assigned representatives to participate in proceedings for 5,058 people. Care work has become a prominent highlight of the Dong Nai Provincial Trade Union organization. As a result, 984,000 workers in difficult circumstances, dangerous diseases, and serious labor accidents have been cared for.
Real development of 30,000 union members
Trade union levels in the province organize Tet care activities for over 600,000 turns of union members and workers, care for workers and employees in difficult circumstances, dangerous diseases, serious labor accidents... with levels from 200,000 VND to 2 million VND/gift, through activities "Tet reunion", family meetings of workers and employees in difficult circumstances, "Happy Tet with workers", "New Year's Eve for workers far from home"...

The "Trade Union Meal" program has had 297 grassroots trade unions and enterprises organize for 434,637 turns of union members and workers to participate, the value of each meal is from 31,000 VND to 120,000 VND, the amount is over 14 billion VND; trade union levels have focused on supporting union members and workers with housing difficulties from the province to the grassroots level with 189 houses newly built and repaired worth 10 billion VND.
Trade union levels have effectively organized the movement to commend children of workers, civil servants and laborers "Good at studying, living well", with 324,213 turns of children of workers, civil servants and laborers being commended and rewarded for their academic and training achievements, with a total reward budget of over 100 billion VND; Organized the awarding of nearly 24,000 scholarships to children of workers, civil servants and laborers in difficult circumstances, achieving high achievements in their studies. The total budget for care activities is nearly 123 billion VND.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, Dong Nai trade union levels strive to actually increase 30,000 union members each year. Strive to reach 900,000 or more union members by the end of the term.

Through the emulation movements of the trade union organization, striving to have at least 38,000 initiatives of union members and workers applied in production, business and work activities; At least 75% of labor cases filed in court are supported by the trade union, participating in litigation and protection when union members request.
After implementing the merger, the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation urgently issued programs, plans, and built solutions to focus on promoting the development of union members and establishing grassroots trade unions in the business sector, especially non-state enterprises and foreign-invested enterprises (FDI). As a result, from July 1, 2025 to October 31, 2025, the whole province established 22 grassroots trade unions with 1,102 union members, raising the current total number of grassroots trade unions to 2,306 grassroots trade unions with 741,958 union members/784,755 workers, with a gathering rate of 94.55%.
