The "ananananan" program is organized by Vietnam Railway Corporation and Vietnam Railway Trade Union (VTC) to continue improving the health, material and spiritual life of union members and workers, especially for workers who have had work-related accidents or have poor health.
The program was held from October 9 to 2.5 with 111 workers attending along with resort and sightseeing activities to help recover their health. The participants are union members and employees who have had work accidents, occupational diseases, or reduced working capacity; union members and employees working in heavy, toxic, or dangerous jobs who have had reduced working capacity during work.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Dang Sy Manh - Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Railways Corporation said that in response to Workers' Month - the peak month of caring for workers, the Corporation and the Vietnam Railway Trade Union have organized activities to visit, encourage and give gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, demonstrating the spirit of "leaving no one behind".
"However, not only Workers' Month, Vietnam Railways Corporation and the Vietnam Railway Trade Union always care, visit, encourage and have benefits for workers," Mr. Manh emphasized.
On this occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented 13 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, demonstrating the spirit of "leaving no one behind". Awarding 50 gifts to cases of work-related accidents to share and encourage the spirit of union members and workers who have unfortunately had accidents during work.
In a series of meaningful activities on the occasion of Workers' Month, in order to honor the silent but huge contributions of female workers in the railway industry, the Corporation also presented gifts of gratitude to 6 female workers - those who always strive to overcome difficulties and successfully complete assigned tasks.
