Recruiting many workers
In An Phu ward, Pungkook Saigon III Factory (specializing in sewing backpacks and bags) has resumed operation after Tet with 95.7% of workers coming to the factory. Factory personnel said that the unit is currently recruiting about 500 workers to meet production needs. The factory is arranging personnel to implement labor attraction.
In Di An ward, Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. (with nearly 7,000 workers, Di An ward, Ho Chi Minh City) said that two factories of the company in Ho Chi Minh City have restarted production. From February 25, factories organized overtime according to production plans for orders.
Ms. Pham Thi Tuyet Nhung - Chairwoman of the company's grassroots trade union - informed that to serve production, in early 2026, factories need to recruit an additional 500 workers. Workers can submit applications at factories in Di An and My Phuoc wards.
Meanwhile, Asia Italy Door Technology Co., Ltd. (producing high-class kitchen cabinets) has organized production at a factory in Nam Tan Uyen expanded industrial park, Binh Co ward. Another factory of the company in Tan Hiep ward will operate on February 27.
Mr. Dao Quang Tho - Human Resources Director of the company - said that the company's early-year orders ensure stable jobs for employees. At the beginning of the year, the company needs to recruit 250 more workers. Currently, the human resources department is starting to receive applications from employees.
Trade unions support businesses in recruiting workers
According to records, dozens of businesses in the North of Ho Chi Minh City are in need of recruiting workers after Tet. In Bau Bang commune, most businesses in the industrial park hang recruitment signs in front of the company gate. Many businesses need to recruit from 100-300 workers.
Bau Bang Commune Trade Union said that at the beginning of 2026, businesses in the area need to recruit about 3,500 workers. Notably, Top Outdoor Vina Co., Ltd. (producing tents and camping tents) has a need to recruit 300 female garment workers; MPF Vietnam International Co., Ltd. recruits 100 workers and 60 garment workers; Yacht Vietnam Technology and Engineering Co., Ltd. (producing batteries and accumulators, in Bau Bang industrial park, Bau Bang commune) also wants to recruit about 100 workers.
To support businesses in recruiting workers, the Bau Bang Commune Trade Union organized a job transaction session to connect workers with businesses.
Mr. Luu The Thuan - Chairman of Bau Bang Commune Trade Union - informed that currently quite a few businesses in the area and surrounding areas have recruitment needs. Bau Bang Commune Trade Union will strengthen propaganda and information connection to support businesses in recruiting and workers in finding jobs.
In Tay Nam ward, the Ward Trade Union said that there are currently dozens of companies in need of recruiting workers. Many businesses have a need to recruit a large number of workers up to hundreds of workers. Notably, Chang Bao Vietnam Co., Ltd. (producing household sofas) is recruiting 500 unskilled workers, Topkey Vietnam Co., Ltd. (producing bicycles) is in need of recruiting 300 production workers, 10 CNC staff, 1 warehouse staff.
The total recruitment demand of businesses in Tay Nam ward is about 5,000 workers. The ward Trade Union is connecting labor supply and demand.
