Trade unions come to workers in flooded areas

At the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented 1 billion VND to support union members and workers in Hue City to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

The Hue City Labor Federation needs to carefully and fully review the damage situation of union members and workers in the area to have timely and appropriate support plans; avoid missing cases, causing union members and workers to not receive support. Implement with the spirit of "leaving no union member behind" - President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor emphasized.
Representatives of the city's leaders and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City sent their thanks to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and accompanying units for promptly supporting Hue City to overcome difficulties, restore production, and stabilize people's lives.
Immediately after the support awarding ceremony, the working group went to Victortex Hue Company Limited (Quang Dien commune) to present 60 gifts directly to workers severely affected by floods. At the same time, he burned incense for union members who died due to floods in Vy Da ward, shared the loss, and encouraged relatives to overcome difficulties.
Receiving support gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, a union member of Victortex Hue Company, emotionally shared: "During the flood days, my house was almost completely flooded, my property was damaged, and I had to take a few days off work. Now that I have received the attention of the Trade Union, I feel warm-hearted and motivated to work, to restore my life. For us workers, this is not only a material gift but a great source of spiritual encouragement.
The meaningful gifts from the Trade Union have given strength to union members and workers in Hue City to overcome difficulties, gradually stabilize their lives, and return to production after storms and floods. This is also a clear demonstration of the spirit of "wherever there are workers, there are trade unions" to always accompany and share with workers in the most difficult times.
