On December 30, the Hue City Labor Federation (LDLD) said that in the period 2023-2025, models of caring for union members and workers continue to be maintained, expanded and spread to many grassroots trade unions.
Through the Union Member Welfare Program with preferential services, more than 40,700 turns of union members and workers have benefited, with a total budget of over 3.7 billion VND. The City Labor Federation also implemented 63 "Union Member Deeds" programs, supporting 265 million VND for particularly difficult cases; the "Together to School" program awarded more than 4,600 notebooks and school supplies to children of union members and workers.
The "Trade Union Home" program continues to be effectively implemented, supporting the construction of 57 new houses and repairing 41 houses with a total cost of more than 3.36 billion VND, contributing to improving the lives of union members.
In parallel, trade union levels promote the organization of "Trade Union Meals", in two years 2024-2025, 78 grassroots trade unions participated, attracting 34,300 union members, with a total budget of more than 817 million VND. Funds to support employment and capital support continue to be disbursed, helping union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers stabilize their lives.
Activities to care for spiritual life are also focused on, with many rich cultural and sports programs. Hue City Labor Culture House regularly maintains football, badminton, table tennis, yoga, basketball clubs... attracting a large number of union members to participate in health training.
