On May 12, the Buon Don District Labor Federation (Dak Lak province) informed that the district union coordinated with units to organize sports festivals for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and people.
This is an event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and towards the 30th anniversary of the District's founding (October 7, 1995 - October 7, 2025); 135 years of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1990 - May 19, 2025).
The event was attended by more than 310 athletes from grassroots unions, agencies, units, and sports clubs in the district.
Athletes compete in 5 sports including: Badminton, Table Tennis, Pickleball, Volleyball and tug of war.
Mr. Y Si That Ksor - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Buon Don district - said: "This is an opportunity for cadres, civil servants, workers and people to exchange, strengthen solidarity and improve health to study, work and work".
"After the sports festival, grassroots unions, agencies, units and localities need to continue to promote the movement of physical exercise. Thereby, contributing to the development of the physical education and sports movement among cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and people in the district", Mr. Y Si Thap added.
