The Congress took place on March 17, with the participation of Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien, member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Provincial Economic Zone Trade Union; Mr. Nguyen Trong Danh, Vice Chairman of the Economic Zone Trade Union, representative of the company's Board of Directors and more than 50 workers.
At the congress, the Mobilization Committee established the grassroots trade union and reported the results of the mobilization process. The mobilization committee has been active in disseminating to workers about the Party's guidelines and policies, the Trade Union Law, the labor law, explaining to workers the functions and tasks of the trade union organization and the rights when joining the Vietnam Trade Union such as: receiving legal advice, free legal assistance, requiring the trade union to represent and protect legitimate and legal rights and interests when violated, participating in cultural, sports and tourism activities organized by the trade union...
Speaking at the congress, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien also emphasized the role of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union in participating with employers in developing and implementing operating regulations at the company such as democratic regulations and collective labor agreements; members of the Executive Committee must be people with knowledge, legal knowledge, enthusiasm, and dynamism in activities, daring to fight to protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
The Congress unanimously elected the Executive Committee of the company's Trade Union consisting of 3 people, of which Ms. Nguyen Thi My Hanh was elected to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Ten Tech composite Company Limited (Vietnam).
