Attending and directing the Congress were Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien, Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Provincial Economic Zone Trade Union, Mr. Nguyen Trong Danh, Vice Chairman of Trade Union of Economic Zone, representatives of the Board of Directors, Company Workshop and more than 40 workers.
Speaking at the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien, Chairwoman of the Economic Zone Trade Union, expressed her joy and congratulated nearly 300 union members who were admitted and the Trade Union Establishment Campaign Committee for organizing the congress and electing the Trade Union Executive Committee.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien also requested the Executive Board of the Trade Union to quickly coordinate with the Company's Board of Directors to sign a collective labor agreement, develop company regulations and regulations on coordination of activities; and effectively implement policies to care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees in accordance with the law.
The Congress elected a provisional Executive Committee of 3 people, of which Ms. Le Thi Nhung was elected as President of the Trade Union.
It is known that Gia Thai Company Limited (Vietnam) is headquartered in Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Park (An Hoa Ward, Trang Bang Town) and was established and put into operation in December 2024 with nearly 300 workers, producing and trading in export footwear products.
