According to reports from the Lang Son Labor Federation, in the first quarter of 2026, trade union levels in the area have implemented many activities to care for union members and workers, especially groups in difficult circumstances and low incomes.
From the support of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, the Provincial Confederation of Labour and units and businesses in the area, the "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" program in 2026 and activities to visit and give gifts in commune clusters have supported 4,920 turns of union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with a total value of 3.72 billion VND.
In which, there are 300 gifts from Party and State leaders with a total value of 690 million VND; 150 gifts from leaders of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor worth 195 million VND.
The Provincial Labor Federation alone presented 1,440 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with a total value of 1.44 billion VND.
In addition to direct support with gifts, the 2026 Trade Union Tet Market organized online recorded 2,350 union members and workers participating in buying discounted goods, with a total voucher value of 1.175 billion VND.
Businesses in the area visited and presented gifts to 80 people in difficult circumstances, with a total value of 40 million VND.
In the first quarter, the Provincial Labor Federation also organized visits and gifts to 22 units and businesses to grasp the situation of union members and workers before, during and after Tet, with a total value of 44 million VND. Former leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation who have retired were visited and given gifts with a total amount of 29.2 million VND.
In particular, at grassroots trade unions, from the support of trade unions, authorities and professionals, over 3,300 turns of union members and workers continued to be visited and given gifts with a total amount of over 10 billion VND.
The Provincial Labor Federation has supported the construction of 3 new "Trade Union Solidarity Houses" for 3 union members, with a total amount of 120 million VND. This is part of the program to support 29 "Trade Union Solidarity Houses" in 2025.
The Provincial Trade Union also participated in the labor accident investigation team at An Huong brick factory, hamlet 6, Na Sam commune, Lang Son province.
