Ky Cung - Ta Phu Temple is the largest traditional festival in Lang Son province, held annually from the 22nd to the 27th day of the first lunar month.
The festival aims to show gratitude to Quan Lon Tuan Tranh and Ta Do Doc Han Quan Cong Than Cong Tai.
The highlight of the festival is the palanquin procession ceremony between Ky Cung Temple and Ta Phu Temple, along with activities such as lion and dragon dances, firecracker head paintings, attracting a large number of people and tourists to participate.
This year, the main festival day of the 27th day of the first lunar month falls on Sunday, so the number of visitors to Lang Son has increased sharply.
From January 26th, many central roads and areas around the two temples are crowded with pilgrims, creating a bustling atmosphere in the early spring days.
The increased number of visitors contributes to promoting trade, services, accommodation and dining activities in the area, and at the same time shows the attractiveness of cultural and spiritual tourism in Lang Son.
