With more than 453,000 trade union members operating in 2,232 grassroots trade unions, the Tay Ninh Provincial Trade Union organization is increasingly affirming its role as a representative, caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers. In which, improving the quality of dialogue at the workplace and collective bargaining is identified as one of the key tasks, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
By May 2026, the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation is managing 453,324 trade union members out of a total of 490,209 officials, civil servants, public employees, and laborers, operating in 2,232 grassroots trade unions. In which, the majority are grassroots trade unions in non-state enterprises with 2,041 units. This is also an area with a large concentration of workers and poses increasingly high requirements for the work of representing and protecting union members' rights.
In recent years, dialogue activities at the workplace have had many positive changes. Instead of just solving arising problems, many grassroots trade unions proactively grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers to include them in the content of dialogue and negotiation with employers. Contents that workers are interested in such as salaries, bonuses, meals, working hours, working conditions, occupational safety and health and welfare regimes are increasingly being brought up for public and frank exchange.

According to the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, trade union levels have focused on improving the skills of dialogue and negotiation for grassroots trade union officials; at the same time, strengthening coordination with functional agencies in propaganda and supervision of the implementation of labor laws at enterprises. The quality of trade union activities is increasingly clearly shown through the work of caring for the lives and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
Practical operations show that businesses that maintain good dialogue and collective bargaining mechanisms often have a more stable working environment, limit labor disputes, and create conditions for employees to feel secure and stick with the business for a long time. This is also an important basis for improving labor productivity, increasing competitiveness and sustainable development.
Besides the achieved results, collective bargaining activities still face certain difficulties. The fluctuation of the labor force, increasingly high requirements for human resource quality as well as changes in the production and business environment require trade union officials to continue to improve their capacity, bravery and skills to represent workers.
Towards the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, trade union levels in Tay Ninh province continue to identify dialogue and collective bargaining as one of the important solutions to protect workers' rights. Not only stopping at implementing legal regulations, the goal is to build more collective labor agreements with content higher than the law, bringing more practical benefits to union members and workers.
From dialogues at enterprises to increasingly substantive collective labor agreements, the Trade Union organization is gradually affirming its role as a bridge between workers and employers, contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations in the new development stage.
