The Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation has just coordinated with the Steering Committee for establishing grassroots trade unions to organize a congress to establish the grassroots trade union of Rainbow Weaving Co., Ltd. (Vietnam).
Rainbow Weaving Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) is a 100% foreign-invested enterprise, operating from December 2023 and currently has 99 employees. In the past time, the Steering Committee for establishing grassroots trade unions has promoted propaganda and dissemination about the position and role of trade union organizations as well as the rights and obligations of union members to employees in the enterprise.
As a result, all 99 employees working at the company voluntarily wrote applications to join the Vietnam Trade Union, expressing their consensus and desire to participate in the organization representing and protecting their legitimate and lawful rights and interests.
At the congress, the Mobilization Committee reported on the process of mobilizing the establishment of grassroots trade unions, and announced the decision to establish the grassroots trade union of Rainbow Weaving Co., Ltd. (Vietnam). The union members elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union for the term 2026-2030 in accordance with the regulations of the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Speaking at the congress, representatives of the Trade Union Committee of Industrial Parks of Tay Ninh province congratulated the collective of workers and the newly elected grassroots trade union Executive Committee, and at the same time requested the grassroots trade union to soon develop operating regulations, promote the role of a bridge between workers and businesses, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at the unit.
The results of the first meeting of the Executive Committee trusted and elected Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang to hold the position of Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union of Rainbow Weaving Co., Ltd. (Vietnam). The Inspection Committee of the grassroots trade union includes 3 members, in which Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang was elected to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Inspection Committee.
The establishment of grassroots trade unions not only creates conditions for workers to be represented, cared for and protect their legitimate rights, but also contributes to building a stable working environment, improving the material and spiritual life of union members and workers, and promoting the sustainable development of enterprises.
