Ms. Nguyen Khanh Chi - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Banking Trade Union - said that based on the 2025 trade union work program of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) and the direction and tasks of the banking industry in 2025, the Vietnam Banking Trade Union (VGCL) has proactively implemented the 2025 work program to all levels of trade unions in the system; propagated the political tasks of the industry, especially Directive No. 01/CT-NHNN dated January 20, 2025 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam on organizing the implementation of key tasks of the banking industry in 2024; Directive 02/CT-NHNN dated January 20, 2025 on promoting digital transformation and ensuring information security and safety in banking activities in 2025.
In the context of the whole country resolutely implementing the reform of the administrative apparatus, arranging and perfecting the organizational structure of the apparatus in the direction of streamlining, effective and efficient operations in the spirit of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, trade unions at all levels focus on propagating and disseminating the Party's guidelines and resolutions, the State's laws and policies, the guidelines of the trade union organization, the State's guidelines on implementing the arrangement of the apparatus to operate effectively, efficiently and effectively in conjunction with doing a good job of ideological work for cadres, civil servants and workers affected in the process of restructuring the apparatus.
Guiding the propaganda of important political and historical events of the country, the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification, the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day on May 1, etc., thereby contributing to raising knowledge, awareness of law compliance as well as awareness and affection of union members and workers (DV, NLD) for the role, position and mission of the Party, the working class, and the Trade Union organization in the cause of building, defending the Fatherland and developing the country.
Implement the Plan to promote communication work of the Vietnam Bank Trade Union, term VII (2023 - 2028) and guide units to promote the application of technology in communication work to increase interaction and improve the effectiveness of trade union activities. Effectively operate the website and fanpage of the NHVN Trade Union to increase connectivity with a large number of units and employees in the industry.
Currently, the NHVN Trade Union website has 97 million visits; posted an average of 1,200 articles/year; the NHVN Trade Union fanpage currently has nearly 27,000 followers.
