On the afternoon of February 5th, in the busy atmosphere of preparing to welcome Tet, Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union organized the "Tet Year's Eve Meal" program to summarize trade union activities in 2025, and express gratitude for the companionship of leaders at all levels, units, businesses and all union members and workers.
Attending the program were leaders of Van Chan Commune People's Committee, leaders of Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union, representatives of units, businesses and a large number of union members and workers.
Speaking at the program, a representative of the Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union said: 2025 continues to be a year with many difficulties for the production and business activities of small traders. In that context, the Son Thinh market grassroots Trade Union has promoted the spirit of solidarity - responsibility - affection, gradually stabilizing the organization, affirming its role as a reliable support for union members.
From a newly established trade union, to date, the Son Thinh market grassroots trade union has gathered 199 union members, operating in an increasingly orderly and effective manner. The work of representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members is focused on; many activities to care for material and spiritual life are implemented practically.

Not only caring for union members, the Son Thinh market grassroots trade union also actively participates in social and charitable activities. Coordinating with the Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union, the trade union has mobilized resources to support union members and people affected by natural disasters; participating in building houses for poor households, clean water wells, supporting schools and difficult circumstances with a total budget of hundreds of millions of VND.
A notable highlight is the mobilization to establish Van Chan Car Union, expanding the network of trade union organizations in the area. The formation of the union shows the concern of trade union levels for the team of drivers and workers in the transportation sector, creating a "common home" for union members to share, accompany and protect their legitimate rights.
At the "Trade Union Year-End Meal", Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union presented 40 Tet gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances; and organized a warm meal for 224 people, including 199 members of Son Thinh Market Trade Union and 25 drivers in the area, each gift worth 70,000 VND.
On this occasion, the Son Thinh market grassroots Trade Union also commended collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in storm and flood prevention and control and recovery in 2025.
