For many years, due to limited facilities, the domestic water supply at Gia Hoi Secondary School has not met the needs of teachers and students.
The commencement of the clean water well not only solves the immediate essential needs but also contributes to ensuring health and creating a safe and healthy learning environment for children.
The project is implemented from the joint efforts of the Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union and organizations, individuals and kind hearts towards the cause of education in difficult areas.
This is a practical activity, clearly showing the role of trade union organizations in caring for community life, especially the younger generation.

Each drop of water today is a sharing and responsible companionship with teachers and students of the school," shared a representative of the Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union, and hoped that the project would be effective for a long time, adding motivation for the school to teach well and learn well in the coming time.
Previously, the Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union coordinated with the Son Thinh Market Grassroots Trade Union to call for the joint efforts and support of philanthropists to donate a clean water well project at Nam Muoi Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary School, Son Luong commune, Lao Cai province.

The school currently has 269 students, including 215 boarding students, of which 97% are children of the Dao ethnic group. In recent years, despite many difficulties, the school has always strived to do a good job of education in the highlands, linking cultural teaching with caring for the lives of boarding students.
However, due to being invested in construction for a long time, the school does not have a stable source of clean water to serve daily activities for students.
The donated drilled well project not only contributes to solving the essential needs for domestic water but also shows the deep concern and sharing of trade union organizations and philanthropists for the cause of education in the highlands.
