News from An Khe Ward Trade Union on October 10th said: The Ward Trade Union coordinated with Cam Le Grassroots Social Insurance to organize a consultation and dialogue conference on the Labor Law, Social Insurance, Health Insurance, and Unemployment Insurance to grassroots trade union officials.
At the conference, delegates were informed and updated by Mr. Ly Khanh Man - Deputy Director of Cam Le Grassroots Social Insurance on the new contents of the Law on Social Insurance, the Law on Health Insurance and regulations related to regimes and policies for employees.
In particular, the conference focused on clarifying the new points of the 2024 Law on Social Insurance; regulations on labor contracts, wages, working hours, rest hours, maternity benefits, sickness, occupational accidents, occupational diseases and unemployment insurance.
In addition to imparting legal knowledge, the conference spent a lot of time exchanging and directly dialoguing with grassroots trade union officials.
Many questions and practical situations arising at enterprises related to compulsory social insurance participation, settlement of regimes for employees, handling labor disputes, signing labor contracts, rights and responsibilities of trade union organizations in representing and protecting employees have been answered specifically and clearly.
Through consulting and dialogue activities, it has contributed to raising legal awareness and equipping skills for grassroots trade union officials in propaganda, consulting and supporting union members and workers at units.
At the same time, create a forum for trade union officials to share experiences, reflect difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing labor and insurance policies, thereby proposing solutions to improve the effectiveness of caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
