At noon on November 1, the Ham Thang Ward Trade Union (Lam Dong Province) and benefactors organized food supplies for people near Phu Long Bridge - which was still deeply flooded due to rising floodwaters.

A fishing basket is used to transport food and drinking water to each household. Many young volunteers also carried water boxes on their shoulders, crossed the flooded water to give to the people.

Ms. Tran Thi Xuan Tham - Chairwoman of Ham Thang Ward Trade Union said that the area along Cai River was deeply flooded, some houses collapsed, some houses were half-roofed. Although the water in many other places has receded, this place is still deeply flooded.
Transporting food is still difficult. However, the ward union and benefactors still try to reach each household to provide timely support.

Ham Thang ward is one of the areas that suffered heavy damage due to flooding. The cooperation of the trade union organization and benefactors not only helps people overcome difficult times but also adds confidence and motivation to soon stabilize their lives after natural disasters.
As Lao Dong reported, in recent days, prolonged heavy rain combined with increased flood discharge from irrigation lakes has caused deep flooding in many areas in Ham Thuan commune, Ham Liem commune, Ham Thang ward, Binh Thuan ward...

Rising water caused many houses to be isolated. Local authorities, functional forces and volunteer rescue teams have supported the evacuation of people from flooded areas.
In recent days, Ham Thang Ward Trade Union has received support and necessities from many benefactors and shared them with flooded areas.
