Recently, social networks have spread the image of a deep hole appearing right in front of house number 27, Tran Hung Dao street (Cua Nam ward, Hanoi). The incident has caused concern for many road users, especially in the evening, when this area often has high traffic density.
According to Mr. N.D, a resident living near the area, this hole has appeared for nearly a week now, causing inconvenience and potential danger to traffic participants, but has not seen the authorities thoroughly handle it, causing many people to be upset.
Therefore, he posted the image on social media with the hope that the authorities would quickly intervene and fix the problem to ensure the safety of the people.
At around 4:00 p.m. on November 1, according to Mr. Pham Quang Hung (residing on Tran Binh Trong Street, Hanoi), to ensure traffic safety, the authorities had temporarily placed a shield at the entrance of the hole to warn of danger and avoid unfortunate incidents.
On the same afternoon, speaking with reporters, Ms. Trinh Ngoc Tram - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Cua Nam Ward, Hanoi City said that immediately after receiving feedback from the people, the ward directed the authorities to temporarily inspect and fix the subsidence location, ensuring safety for people and vehicles passing by.
"Currently, the local government is continuing to monitor the road surface and make a plan to thoroughly repair it as soon as possible," said Ms. Tram.
