News from Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on April 29 said: The Ward Trade Union organized a launching ceremony for Workers' Month and responded to the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Le Van Dai - Standing Vice Chairman of the City Labor Federation; leaders of the Ward Party Committee; representatives of leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, members of the Ward Trade Union Executive Committee and nearly 90 union members, workers, and laborers in the area.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Ms. Phung Thi Ai Nhan - Chairwoman of Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union emphasized that Workers' Month 2026 with the theme: "Da Nang workers innovate, create, improve labor productivity" takes place in a special context, associated with many political events, major holidays of the country; celebrating the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day May 1.
This is an important opportunity to continue to ignite the glorious tradition of the working class, promote the core role of the trade union organization in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union has actively implemented activities to respond to Workers' Month 2026 such as the online photo contest "Beauty of union members in labor production" and the Badminton tournament among officials and workers in the ward.
Within the framework of the program, the Da Nang City Labor Federation awarded the Emulation Flag, excellent unit in the emulation movement for good labor and building a strong trade union organization in 2025 to the grassroots Trade Union of Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Exploitation Joint Stock Company.
On this occasion, Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union presented 44 gifts to workers and laborers in difficult circumstances with a total budget of 44 million VND from trade union funds.
