News from the Trade Union of Hoa Cuong ward, Da Nang city on August 17 said: within the framework of the Nai Nam - Hoa Cuong Village Temple Festival Program, the Trade Union of Hoa Cuong ward, the grassroots Trade Union of Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Exploitation Joint Stock Company in coordination with the Women's Union of Hoa Cuong ward organized the awarding of scholarships to 36 poor orphans and children in difficult circumstances who are children of union members and workers residing in the ward.
Through the mobilization of the Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union, Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Exploitation Joint Stock Company has shown a sense of responsibility, sharing and a heart for the community when deciding to award sponsorship scholarships to 36 children in difficult circumstances in the ward, with a total support budget of 336 million VND/year.
Scholarships are not only practical material support but also a valuable source of spiritual encouragement, helping them have more learning conditions, reduce difficulties in life and add motivation to rise up.
The activity also demonstrates the role of the Trade Union organization in connecting and mobilizing social resources to care for union members, workers and children of union members in difficult circumstances; and at the same time spreading the spirit of compassion and community responsibility in enterprises.
