71/99 workers join the Trade Union organization
News from Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on June 24 said: Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union coordinated with the Board of Directors of SHB Da Nang Sports Joint Stock Company to organize a ceremony to announce the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union (CĐCS) of SHB Da Nang Sports Joint Stock Company.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Tra Thanh Quang - Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Khanh Ward, Chairman of the Trade Union of Hoa Khanh Ward; Mr. Dao Quang Hung, Secretary of the Company's Party Cell; Mr. Nguyen Huy Tai, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Ho Kinh Tuan Kiet, General Director of the Company, and a large number of officials and employees.
After more than a month of implementing propaganda and mobilization work in the form of online union membership registration, 71/99 employees of the company voluntarily joined the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
This result shows the consensus and trust of workers in the trade union organization, and at the same time affirms the attractiveness of the trade union organization in non-state-owned enterprises.
At the ceremony, the Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union announced the decision to admit 71 workers to the Trade Union organization, the decision to establish the Trade Union of SHB Da Nang Sports Joint Stock Company and appointed the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union.
Complete negotiations, sign agreements in 3 months
Speaking to receive the assignment, representatives of the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union of SHB Da Nang Sports Joint Stock Company set out a specific operating roadmap, including: stabilizing organization and assigning tasks in the first month; completing negotiation and signing of collective labor agreements within 3 months; preparing conditions to organize the 1st grassroots trade union congress within 6 months.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huy Tai - Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors congratulated the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union and all trade union members.
At the same time, he affirmed that the business leadership will create favorable conditions in terms of time and facilities for trade unions to operate effectively, contributing to building a harmonious, stable and developed working environment.
Mr. Tra Thanh Quang - Chairman of Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union assigned tasks and requested grassroots trade unions to continue to promote union member development, striving to reach at least 95% of workers participating in trade unions by the time of organizing the 1st Congress.
At the same time, build a two-way information channel to promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers; effectively organize labor production emulation movements, cultural and sports activities and care for union members' lives.
Leaders of Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union also emphasized the role of the trade union in discovering and fostering outstanding union members to introduce to the Party Cell for consideration and admission, contributing to building the Party organization in the enterprise to become increasingly strong.
The grassroots trade union of SHB Da Nang Sports JSC is the 66th unit directly under Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union and the 10th grassroots trade union in the joint-stock company block.
The establishment of trade unions at enterprises is expected to create more motivation to promote the movement of workers, civil servants, and laborers in the area, contributing to celebrating the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026).
