Achieving many positive results
Cam Le Ward Trade Union, Da Nang City on June 23rd said: currently Cam Le Ward Trade Union manages 74 grassroots trade unions with 3,206 union members.
Closely following the theme of activities in 2026 "Promoting innovation and creativity; concretizing and bringing the Resolution of the Party Congress, Fatherland Front, and Trade Union into life", trade union levels in the area have implemented many practical activities, achieving many positive results.
In the first 6 months of the year, the Ward Trade Union has newly established 2 grassroots trade unions; introduced 7 outstanding union members to participate in training classes on Party awareness, including 1 union member admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam.
At the same time, launching 1 more Self-managed Workers' Group in the boarding house area, bringing the total number to 25 groups, contributing to supporting workers from other provinces, maintaining security and order and building a cultural life in residential areas.
Propaganda and dissemination of laws are focused on. The Ward Trade Union coordinates to organize propaganda conferences on labor law, social insurance, occupational safety and health, and traffic safety for more than 400 workers in self-managed worker groups in boarding houses.
Responding to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026, the unit has organized propaganda on reproductive health care and disease prevention for more than 200 female union members and workers; posted more than 25 news and articles on digital platforms; organized Sports Festivals for workers, civil servants, and laborers with more than 250 athletes participating.
Improving the quality of lunch meals for 272 workers
Activities to care for union members and workers continue to be effectively implemented with a total support budget of hundreds of millions of VND through programs such as Trade Union Tet Market, supporting union members in difficult circumstances, suffering from dangerous diseases, visiting union members and trade union officials in difficult circumstances.
The Ward Trade Union also coordinated to improve the quality of lunch meals for 272 workers, and at the same time mobilized 50 union members to participate in humanitarian blood donation.
According to Mr. Dang Huu Duc - Chairman of Cam Le Ward Trade Union, in the last 6 months of 2026, Cam Le Ward Trade Union will continue to focus on implementing the targets and tasks of the year and resolutions of trade union congresses at all levels; promote union member development, establish grassroots trade unions; survey and grasp the labor situation at enterprises in the area.
In addition, the trade union will continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; strengthen the application of technology and digital transformation in trade union work; improve the quality of dialogue and collective bargaining, improve working conditions, ensure occupational safety and health; effectively implement social security activities and care for union members in difficult circumstances.
At the same time, organize activities to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026) and major holidays of the country.
