News from Hoa Xuan Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on April 30 said: Ward Trade Union organizes a program to celebrate the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2026).
At the same time, launching Workers' Month and Action Month on occupational safety and health in 2026.
At the program, delegates together reviewed the glorious tradition of struggle of the working class and laborers around the world for the goal of peace, social progress and legitimate rights and interests.
Affirming the great role of the Vietnamese working class in the revolutionary process of the nation under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
In 2026, the city's theme for Workers' Month is "Da Nang workers innovate, create, and improve labor productivity associated with digital transformation and green transformation" and the theme for the Action Month on occupational safety and health is "Strengthening the assessment and control of risks to occupational safety and health, building a safe and healthy working environment in the digital age".
Hoa Xuan Ward Trade Union launches emulation to respond to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.
Paying special attention to a number of key tasks such as: launching the emulation movement "Good Labor - Creative Labor" associated with digital transformation and green transformation; promoting occupational safety and health; caring for the material and spiritual lives of workers; innovating the organization and methods of operation of trade unions, improving the quality of representative work, protecting rights, and caring for the lives of workers.
On this occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded certificates of merit to 2 individuals belonging to the Hoa Xuan Ward Trade Union for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good labor.
Da Nang City Labor Federation awarded emulation flags to 1 collective and awarded certificates of merit to 2 individuals; presented 30 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances in Hoa Xuan ward.
The Ward Trade Union commends and rewards 26 union members and workers with outstanding achievements in mass movement activities in 2025.
