On April 30, the grassroots Trade Union of Thuan Yen Packaging Co., Ltd. (located in Thuan Yen industrial cluster, Ban Thach ward, Da Nang) officially established and went into operation, under the Da Nang City Labor Federation. This is an important step to bring the trade union organization closer to employees in the enterprise.
Along with the establishment of trade union organizations at enterprises, the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Labor Federation also approved the admission of 26 employees of Thuan Yen Packaging Co., Ltd. to the Vietnam Trade Union.
Representatives of the Da Nang Trade Union assessed that in the context of labor relations at enterprises increasingly requiring harmony and stability, grassroots trade union organizations are expected to promote the role of a bridge between workers and employers; participate in supervising the implementation of regimes and policies; and at the same time encourage union members to emulate in labor production and long-term attachment to enterprises.
