News from the Trade Union of Hoi An Tay Ward, Da Nang City on April 18 said: Hoi An Ward Trade Union organized a conference to summarize trade union activities in the first quarter of 2026, summarize 10 years of implementing Resolution 7c/NQ-TLĐ and launch Workers' Month, Action Month on occupational safety and health in 2026.
Currently, the unit manages 28 grassroots trade unions with 3,328 union members. The team of workers, civil servants, and laborers are basically stable in their ideology and actively participate in labor and production emulation movements.
In the first quarter of 2026, the Hoi An Tay Ward Trade Union implemented many practical activities, contributing to stabilizing life and enhancing morale for workers.
The work of caring for the lives of union members is emphasized, especially during the Lunar New Year. The program "Tet reunion - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" has presented 359 gifts, each worth 1 million VND; supported 33 difficult cases with a total amount of 33 million VND.
At the grassroots level, more than 4,000 gifts with a total value of over 2.87 billion VND were given to union members and workers. 100% of businesses implemented the 13th month salary bonus with an average level of 7.7 million VND/person.
The work of caring for spiritual life is also concerned through cultural and sports activities, typically the "Making Cakes and Jams" contest, thereby donating products to poor households, spreading the spirit of sharing in the community.
The Ward Trade Union also promotes legal propaganda, develops union members and builds strong organizations. The emulation movement "Good Labor - Creative Labor" continues to be maintained, encouraging workers to improve their qualifications and technical innovations in production.
Deploying the Workers' Month plan
At the conference, the Trade Union of Hoi An Tay Ward deployed the plan for Workers' Month and Action Month on occupational safety and health in 2026 with the theme "Hoi An Workers: Innovation, creativity, improving labor productivity".
Many practical activities will be organized such as "May Dialogue", "Thank you workers", health check-ups, psychological counseling, sports festivals, as well as the "Labor Skills - Sustainable Employment Day".
It is expected that the launching ceremony will take place on April 29, combined with the awarding of 50 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances. The Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Sports Festival will also be organized to raise awareness and safety skills for workers.
At the preliminary conference, the Hoi An Ward Trade Union signed a coordination program with Long Chau Vaccination Center, thereby bringing benefits to union members and workers.
At the same time, awarding the emulation flag of the Da Nang City Labor Federation to the grassroots Trade Union of Hoi An Tourism and Service Joint Stock Company for its outstanding achievements in 2025.
