News from the Trade Union of Huong Tra Ward, Da Nang City on July 25 said: towards the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day and the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union, the Trade Union of Huong Tra Ward organized a program to visit and give gifts to war invalids, sick soldiers and relatives of martyrs' families in the ward.
Promoting the ethnic tradition of "When drinking water, remember the source", "When eating fruit, remember the person who planted the tree", the working delegation directly visited, encouraged and presented 10 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, sending deep gratitude to those who have contributed and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and defense.
At the families visited, representatives of the Ward Trade Union cordially inquired about the health and life of wounded soldiers, sick soldiers and relatives of martyrs; and expressed their wish that the uncles and aunts would always be healthy and continue to be bright examples for younger generations to learn and follow.
This is a meaningful activity, showing the concern and responsibility of the trade union organization towards policy families, contributing to educating patriotism, gratitude to previous generations, and at the same time spreading good human values among union members and workers.
