On the evening of August 8, at the Workers' Culture and Sports Center, the Trade Union of Lien Chieu Ward, Da Nang City organized the program "Workers' Rendezvous - Connecting with Development" in 2026.
At the program, the Lien Chieu Ward Trade Union, Da Nang City, presented 110 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Each gift is worth 500,000 VND, including cash and gifts.
On this occasion, 3 students who are children of union members and workers with achievements in overcoming difficulties and studying well were also awarded scholarships. Each scholarship is worth 1 million VND and a notebook.
This is an activity to share and encourage workers in difficult circumstances, and at the same time show the companionship of the Trade Union organization in caring for the lives of union members and workers.
Also at the program, the Lien Chieu Ward Trade Union piloted the model "Workers' Rest Stop - Accompanying Workers". The model was implemented with the desire to create a cultural living space, connecting and accompanying union members and workers more regularly.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Le Trong Nguyen, Chairman of the Lien Chieu Ward Trade Union, Da Nang City, said that with the motto "Taking union members and workers as the center in all activities, the Lien Chieu Ward Trade Union constantly strives to innovate the content and methods of operation.
Always pay attention to taking care of the material and spiritual life better and better; protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers more closely and practically.
The program "Workers' Rendezvous - Connecting for Development" and the model "Workers' Stopover - Accompanying Workers" are not only a cultural and artistic exchange playground but also an opportunity for Trade Union members and workers to relax after stressful working hours.
Strengthen the spirit of solidarity, build a friendly working environment, contributing to improving the quality of life and labor efficiency," Mr. Nguyen emphasized.
In addition to care activities, the program also creates an exchange space for union members and workers through the photo contest "Beauty of union members and workers in Lien Chieu ward for the first time in 2026". Art performances, contests to learn about the Vietnam Trade Union organization and lucky draws for workers.
