On January 22, Hai Chau Ward Trade Union organized a conference to summarize the union work in 2025 and deploy orientations and tasks for 2026.
Reporting at the conference, in 2025, Hai Chau Ward Trade Union implemented many activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
In the year, nearly 6,500 workers and civil servants were given periodic health check-ups and allowances for union members and workers in difficult circumstances and suffering from dangerous diseases, with a total amount of more than 2.7 billion VND. The ward trade union coordinated to organize "Union member Welfare" programs with 7 businesses. Union member development and trade union establishment were concerned, in the year 11 new grassroots trade unions were established, and 460 new members were developed.
In 2026, the Ward Trade Union focuses on innovating the content and methods of operation; propagating and concretizing the Resolutions of the Party Congress, the Fatherland Front, and Trade Unions at all levels; coordinating with the government to organize conferences for officials, workers, civil servants, and laborers; effectively implementing Directive No. 05 - CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style.
Implement 3 breakthrough programs in the term; organize care for union members in difficult circumstances, suffering from dangerous diseases, labor accidents; train and foster grassroots trade union officials to meet the requirements and tasks of the organization in the new term; improve the efficiency of organizing campaigns; strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of policies and laws for union members and workers.
At the program, the Da Nang City Labor Federation commended 6 collectives and 3 individuals; Chairman of the Ward People's Committee commended 15 collectives and 10 individuals with achievements in successfully completing trade union work in 2025 and provided support to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
