News from Tam Ky Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on August 10th said: Tam Ky Ward Trade Union organizes the program "Visiting and providing initial medical examinations for trade union members and people in mountainous areas; and supporting health care products for union members and women from poor households in Tra Tap commune".
The program is implemented in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Tra Tap commune, grassroots trade unions, volunteer doctors and medical staff, and accompanying businesses and units, to contribute to taking care of the health and lives of union members, workers and people in mountainous areas.
At the program, the working group organized initial medical examinations, health and nutrition counseling, and guidance on preventing skin-related diseases for about 100 trade union members, workers, and women from poor households in Tra Tap commune.
On this occasion, Maria Cosmetics Company donated a set of shampoo and conditioner products worth 80 million VND; Quang Nam Printing - Book Distribution and School Equipment Joint Stock Company donated 7 million VND to support initial medical examination. Hung Loi Trading and Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. donated 500 Fixderma Salizap Soap 75G cake products, contributing to supporting skin care for people, union members and women in mountainous areas.
Tam Ky Ward Trade Union presented 100 gifts including necessities and health care products to 100 trade union members, workers and women from poor households; and presented 4 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, each worth 1 million VND. The total cost of implementing the program is over 50 million VND.
The program is a practical activity showing the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for life and protecting the health of union members and workers; and at the same time strengthening coordination between the Trade Union and the government, medical facilities, businesses and companion units in social security work.
Thereby, contributing to spreading the spirit of "Trade Union accompanies - shares - cares", bringing Trade Union activities closer to union members, workers and people in mountainous areas.
