On October 7, the Tam Long Ward Trade Union (HCMC) announced that it had organized the 1st Tam Long Ward Trade Union Delegation Conference for the 2025-2030 term.
This is the first Conference of Commune and Ward Trade Union Delegates held in the eastern area of Ho Chi Minh City (Ba Ria - Vung Tau area); attracting nearly 100 delegates (including official delegates and invited delegates) to attend.
At the conference, Tam Long Ward Trade Union reported and evaluated its activities since its establishment. In particular, the ward union has highlighted outstanding results in representing, caring for, and negotiating Collective Labor Agreements.... In addition, there are still some limitations such as labor competition, the trend of free labor migration... At the same time, Tam Long Ward Union also set goals, directions, and solutions for the 2025-2030 term.
The conference also announced the decision on the personnel of the Ward Trade Union that had just been issued. In which, the Standing Committee of the Tam Long Ward Trade Union, term I, consists of 9 comrades; Mr. Tran Trung Huy holds the position of Chairman; Ms. Bui Thi Kim Nguyen holds the position of Vice Chairman; along with personnel of the Tam Long Ward Trade Union Inspection Committee, term I.
After the delegates participated in the discussion and comments, the 1st Tam Long Ward Trade Union Delegation Conference, term 2025 - 2030, passed the conference Resolution. In particular, many goals are set such as: developing new union members from 100 union members each year; striving to have at least 90% of non-state workers as union members; 100% of enterprises and units with 20 or more employees establish grassroots unions according to regulations.
At the same time, the conference also set out targets on introducing outstanding union members to join the Party; negotiating the signing of collective labor agreements in enterprises; registering and being recognized for emulation projects to celebrate major holidays and other targets.
