The global music icon G-Dragon made history at the Singapore Grand Prix Formula 1 Race 2025, attracting a record audience of up to 65,000 people in the main performance at the Padang stage on October 3 (local time).
Held at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, this year's Grand Prix is also a grand music event, with G-Dragon and Elton John chosen as the two main performers, making fans eagerly wait right before the festival starts.
Marking his first performance in Singapore in 8 years, since the world tour ACT III, M.O.T.T.E in 2017, G-Dragons return was welcomed with explosive enthusiasm by domestic and international fans.
When the stage lights gradually went out and G-Dragon appeared, the stands echoed with the chants of Kwon Ji Yong. He responded with a energetic 9-minute performance, performing new songs like Power, Home sweet home, and Too bad (feat. Anderson.Paak), interspersed with legendary hits like Crayon, One of a kind, and MichiGO.
The stage is staged as a model lesson in performing arts, combining strong singing voice, vivid visual effects and attractive energy.
G-Dragon also captivated the audience with 3 different changes of costumes, suitable for each separate part of the performance.
The first outfit has a high-end racing style, decorated with Overmensch symbols and outstanding patterns, combined with leather pants and boots, creating a strong and individual look.
The second outfit is a bright red suit, expressing strong charisma and visual attraction.
The final costume stands out with the chessboard motifs inspired by F1, contributing to the added stageiness and impression of the entire performance.
After the performance, fans called it an unforgettable performance, far beyond expectations, and the strongest live show they have ever seen.
On the same day as the performance, Singapore is also organizing G-Dragon Media Exhibition: Overmensch - a high-tech interactive art exhibition produced by Galaxy Corporation and CreativeMUT. The exhibition was held at Changi Experience Studio in Jewel Changi Airport, attracting a large number of visitors and receiving many compliments for its vivid digital experience.
The concert within the framework of F1 Grand Prix is just a stop in G-Dragon's 2025 Overmensch world tour.
The show on November 8 in Hanoi will be the final international stop of the world tour, marking G-Dragon's first solo concert in Vietnam.
