On October 6, a Facebook page appeared that was said to be a boarding meal at Ba Don Primary School No. 1 (Ba Don Ward, Quang Tri Province).

The rice balls in the photo include white rice, about 3 pieces of sausage, 1 boiled egg, a dish similar to sesame salt; in another photo, there is soup but only a few leaves of vegetables. The accompanying information states that the price of each portion is 25,000 VND.

The image quickly attracted many comments saying that such a portion was "small" compared to the price and difficult to ensure nutrition for boarding students.

On the same afternoon, the People's Committee of Ba Don Ward said that it had grasped the information, worked directly with the school and requested a report.

Initially, the locality confirmed the image reflecting the lunch on October 6 of Ba Don Primary School No. 1. Currently, relevant units are continuing to verify the incident.
